Nancy Balstad - Located on Chick Springs Road (off of Wade Hampton near Henry's Barbecue). Nancy's massage is very different (from those of us trained in SC) since she was trained in California (where she also taught massage school). I would characterize her work as a combination of sports and deep tissue. Nancy's forte is working on spot problem areas but if you request it, she can also do Swedish relaxing or deep tissue massage. Nancy has also had extensive training in MediCupping (also known as massage cupping) and has training in working with cancer patients and those who have had breast cancer. You can reach Nancy at 949-500-0562.

Following are some local therapists names and contact information. The only way to know for sure if a therapist is a "fit" for you is to try them! It is my own opinion, that it is a good idea to see several therapists; that way you get to experience different techniques and also have a better chance of getting in at the last minute if you have several to choose from. I would love your feedback regarding your experiences with these therapists. This will help me to know whether or not to keep them listed as possibilities for others who are looking for a massage therapist in our area. These therapists are listed in no particular order. Should none of them work for you you can also find other therapists by visiting the organizational websites listed at the end. All of these therapists have been in business for a number of years.
